2025
Elm House came to A Brand Above with a thought and a dream. No brand, no name, no structure. Together we built the foundation of a kitchen and bath design studio that could step confidently into a competitive New York market. We mapped packages, created price points, and positioned them against established firms. We designed a refined identity with logo, palette, and print collateral. We built their website, branded their social media, and set up HoneyBook workflows that made contracts and proposals seamless. Every piece of the puzzle was created to make Elm House look like they had been in business for years.

Starting with a Spark
When the founder of Elm House came to us, they had a vision but no roadmap. They wanted a kitchen and bath design studio that felt elevated and established, but all they had was an idea. Our first step was to listen, ask the right questions, and map the possibilities. Together we sketched out a full business plan, including service areas, pricing tiers, and positioning that would help them carve out space among high-end competitors in New York.
Building the Foundation
Once the direction was clear, we created the assets that would give Elm House credibility. We helped them secure a business name and ran a trademark search to ensure they could own it. Then came the brand identity: a logo, color palette, and typography system that reflected refinement and longevity. We extended this through print collateral like business cards, brochures, and mailers, giving Elm House a physical presence to match their digital one.
Bringing It to Life
Branding was only part of the work. Elm House needed systems. We implemented HoneyBook to handle proposals, contracts, and invoicing, branding every client-facing detail so the experience felt seamless. We designed a website optimized for SEO and UX, built to showcase projects and convert inquiries. Social media accounts were set up with branded templates, giving Elm House a polished digital presence from day one. By the time they were ready to take on clients, Elm House looked like a seasoned player in the New York design market.
The Outcome
Elm House launched as a fully formed kitchen and bath design studio. Their brand identity is elevated, their website works as a growth tool, and their operations run smoothly. What started as a passing thought is now a business that clients recognize and trust.
